Hemp Food

Cannabis sativa has nothing in common with marihuana, as it does not contain psychoactive substances. All that a hemp seed has in itself is beneficial for human health.

Hemp foods are produced from hemp seed that is harvested every autumn from hemp fields where farmers grow Cannabis sativa varieties specially cultivated for seeds. Each consumable variety is EU-certified, which certification confirms that the psychotropic THC content is barely measurable.
Despite a strict control, there are varieties of higher or lower quality. The quality seeds have a nutty taste.

Oil
Hempseed contains 25 to 35 % of oil that is cold-pressed and suitable for salads as well as for direct consumption. It is sold in special capsules. A quality hemp oil is green, of nutty taste. If it is too bitter or it lacks the nutty taste, it is not a top quality oil.

The hemp oil has excellent anti-inflammatory effects. Only two tablespoons a day improve the hair and nail quality and help against skin diseases, such as psoriasis or atopic eczema. Its composition, especially the ideal content and proportion of the unsaturated Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids, makes the hemp oil suitable for the neurodegenerative disease prevention, such as Parkinson or Alzheimer disease.

The hemp oil is universal; it is thus sought in the organic food shops for its beneficial effects by teenager with problematic skin and seniors alike.
